We know intuitively that people do a better job when they feel good and enjoy their work and that this has a positive effect on productivity and results. That is why it is profitable to work systematically and proactively with work environment management and provide the right training and tools to all mamangers in the business. This is the right training!

This is the reason that the Swedish legislator has adopted the Work Environment Act and made it a legal requirement to take action to further a good work environemnt and work actively to prevent injuries and illness at the work place. In 2001 the Swedish Work Environment Authority adopted regulations on systematic work enviroment management, which all employers are required to implement and comply with. Due to the sharply increasing number of people who become ill due to stress and fatigue related ill health additional regulations were adopted in March 2016 including provisions on organisational and social work enviroment that requires all employers to provide training and take action against unhealthy workload and harassment.

This training provides the necessary knowledge and skills relating to the provisions of the Swedish Work Environment Act, systematic work enviroment management as well as how employers, management teams and managers can work on the organisational and social work environment to promote a healthy work environment and healthy employees.

The advantage of arraning in-house training for your managers in this area is that you simultaneously create a forum to work on and openly discuss the work enviroment issues that are most relevant to your business. You develop a common vocabulary and understanding and consequently the ability to jointly adress the work enviroment issues that are most relevant in your work place.

Providing work environment management training to managers, supervisors and employees is in itself a health promoting activity and a corner stone for an improved work environment. Moreover it is a legal requirement to do so under the Swedish Work Environment Act as well as the provisions on systematic work enviroment management and organisational and social work environment.

This training is an investment in your work environment, your managers and your employees that you can expect a return on.
